Our Woodland Sprites session today was all about celebrating Spring. First we made some wildflower seed balls. We mixed all the ingredients together and then carefully rolled the mixture into balls, before leaving the balls in the sun to dry.
Then we made flowers out of recycled plastic bottles. We designed our own flowers, carefully cutting the petals into shape and decorating them with glass pens. The flowers looked wonderful in the sunshine and made beautiful mobiles for our gardens at home and school.
We took our seed balls home and planted them in our gardens, in wellington boots, pots and shoes! We are hoping for some great meadows of wildflowers this summer to help the bees and butterflies.
