Woodland Bling

A group of girls joined us today for a Woodland Sprites session called ‘Woodland Bling’.

It was a beautiful winter’s morning and the girls were soon busy making wooden beads from elder sticks. They peeled off the bark using a sheath knife, cut the bead to size and then removed the pith with a tent peg. Once they had made a few beads they were threaded onto string or coloured wool to make unique necklaces and bracelets.
